Upcoming latest acknowledgment about flying cars launching
As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, several companies were working on developing and testing flying cars, but there were no official launch announcements for commercial use.
However, there have been some recent developments in this area. In January 2022, Hyundai and Urban-Air Port announced a partnership to develop and test a fleet of electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) vehicles for use in cities. The companies aim to have a fully operational system in place by 2028.
In addition, companies such as Terrafugia, Joby Aviation, and Lilium have been testing their own flying car prototypes, with some receiving funding from major investors such as Toyota and Intel. It is likely that we will see more progress and advancements in this area in the coming years.
It's important to note that even with significant progress in developing and testing flying cars, many regulatory and logistical challenges still need to be addressed before they can be widely adopted for commercial use. Therefore, it may take some time before flying cars become a common mode of transportation.
